Almei kids! I did these over my vacation, so glad they're finally done XD
It's funny cause I always shipped Almei but never really thought about it that much, but within the last couple of months I've analyzed it with my friend and have gained like this whole new appreciation for them :3
Just a little bit about each kid, Nate and Jin are fraternal twins, Nate has a ton of energy and has trouble sitting still, he can be kind of a trouble maker at times and loves being outside, Jin though is more quiet and shy and clingy (especially to Al). He's interested in learning alchemy and enjoys reading. Alannah's pretty quiet too, she's closest with Jin, she's very curious and friendly. They're all pretty young here (the twins are 8; Alannah's 3) so it's hard to go too much in depth about them.
I'll explain our Almei headcanon later with another picture ~
Oh and if you're wondering where Alannah's blue eyes come from, in Brotherhood May has dark blue eyes, so yeah :3

Almei kids are even cuter than your edwin kids! I can't believe how it's possible at all but they really are cutest little anime kids ever.
Did you give Nate dark blond/pale brown hair because it's reasonable mix of Al and Mei's colours or because first anime kind of gave Al similar hair colour? Either way I love it. I also love how they don't have copies of their parents hairstyles.
Though I think that some cute traditional chinese hairstyle would look adorable on Alannah, since the small side bun looks rather modern and simple, since Mei is obviously very good at styling her own hair and all, so teaching Alannah and helping her when she is small would actually make for cute art.
I some times feel like people are ignoring Almei, and I haven't really seen many Almei kids on DA. I love that some good artist makes them cute kids since I actually have personally really hard time imagining what their children would look like. Mostly my issue is with the blonde hair making them look too Amestrian and less Xingese(how do you spell the nationalities?). I like that the lighter haired kids have Meis eyes.
